V Marine has just introduced the first ever steering wheel inserts. These steering wheel inserts are made to replace your ugly/plain/boring steering knob cap with a cap containing art work from some of the best artist in the fishing industry. Depending on what steering wheel brand as well as the wheel itself you have you will need to purchase the correct insert.
Currently our inserts are designed to fit the newer model Edson steering wheel knobs. The inserts for the Gem Lux steering wheel knobs should be out within the next month.

Yes, it is possible to scratch the insert even though it is made from anodized aluminum.
Yes, we can do custom inserts with your company logo or custom art work, the time frame will be longer and the cost may be higher depending on the design. We can also offer advice based on the artwork/design if we feel it will work on the insert.
We also have several artist (some of the best in the industry) that work with us that can make you a custom design for your insert if you would like (cost of the design is up to the artist).

What type of wheel do you have????
Determining if we make a steering wheel cap that fits your wheel and what cap will fit your wheel prior to placing an order is very important. Following the below steps should help you determine if we make a cap to fit your wheel and what cap is the proper one to order.
Step One: Determining the type of wheel.
If you purchased the wheel directly from Edson or Gem Lux this part is easy. If you ordered a wheel directly from Edson place an order for an Edson cap from our store and the cap will fit your wheel. If you ordered a wheel directly from Gem Lux and it is a recent order you will want to order the Gem Lux Deluxe cap….if it is an older wheel see the steps below to determine what cap is best for you. If you did not purchase your wheel directly from one of these companies, you will need to go to the following steps to determine which cap you should order.
Step Two: Determining what cap will fit your wheel.
Looking at your wheel you will see the suicide knob has either a stainless steel cap or a plastic cap. This factory installed cap will need to be removed to determine sizing of the cap. Please remove the factory installed cap and measure the size of the opening. Example picture below.
If the opening is 1 inch wide you will need to examine the plastic/stainless steel cap you removed from the wheel and determine if the factory installed cap has a O-Ring on it or plastic teeth on it that hold the cap in place on the wheel. Example Picture below. If the wheel has an O-Ring then you will need to order the Gem Lux Deluxe cap for your wheel. If the plastic cap has teeth on it you will need to order the regular Gem Lux cap for your wheel.
If the opening is wider than 1 inch (around 1.4 inches wide) and has a plastic O-Ring on the factory installed cap you will more than likely need the Off Brand Wheel cap for your wheel. Example Picture below.
