V Marine is glad to introduce the newest product to our growing line-up.
Sick and tired of the line cutters on our fishing pliers and countless pairs of scissors rusting over and over again we went on the hunt to find the best possible product to offer that would provide a rust proof option at a good price point for saltwater fisherman. We are now proud to offer our V Marine fishing scissors.
The V Marine fishing scissors are made of rust proof ceramic blades with plastic handles. These scissors are designed to handle cutting braided line as well as light leader material. During testing we have found other uses for the scissors such as on the water trimming/reshaping flies. These scissors are super durable and do not require sharpening.
During our testing we were asked by our testing guides and customers to come up with a leash type of system to secure the scissors and prevent the scissors from falling overboard. We tested different systems and the nicest system we tested (Key-Bak retractable system) is now what we will be offering along with the scissors. Our retractable system allows you to clip the scissors onto many different objects/tackle bags to keep the scissors within easy grasp. The retractable system is made of a Kevlar cord and allows you to pull the scissors out four feet from the clipped location.
Our fishing scissors will all come with a sheath to cover the blades and are available to purchase with or without the retractable leash.
