V Marine Push Pole Holder Warnings:

DO NOT attempt to remove the bolt from the bottom of the push pole holder.

DO NOT force the top portion of the push pole holder onto the base plate.  If you attempt to force the top portion onto the base plate you can strip the threads and the product will not function properly.

DO NOT grab the threads of the bolt with pliers.  You will damage the product beyond repair.

DO NOT place excessive pressure on the Push Pole Holders or attempt to tie your boat to a dock (or anything else for that matter) using the Push Pole Holders (this is not what they were designed for).  If you place to much pressure on the Push Pole Holders they can be ripped off the deck and damage your boat.

V Marine Push Pole Holders DO NOT require a large amount of bend in your push pole like other push pole holders to function properly.   Use caution not too put to much bend in the push pole when installing the holders.  Some scope/pressure is needed but if to much scope/pressure is added you may put enough pressure on the push pole causing it to crack/break.

Use caution while removing or tightening the holder.  The edge(s) of the metal can become sharp over time and may cut you.

DO Ensure you use your bungee cords on all of the holders AT ALL TIMES while running your boat on the water or while trailering the boat.  The bungee cords will help protect your push pole from flying out of the holders due to unforeseen reasons.

If for some reason your push pole seems to be lose, not fitting the holders properly, or appears the push pole may come out of the holders please discontinue use of the push pole holders or you run the risk of your push pole coming out of the holders and breaking or being lost.

Wash your Push Pole Holders after every use to include the quick-detach bolt. Even though the bolt is stainless steel and the holders are aluminum you will need to apply marine anti-corrosion spray or marine anti-corrosion grease to the bolt to aviod the top portion of the holder sticking/rusting to the bottom portion of the holder.

This will help ensure they work properly long into the future.

**We recommend guides or other persons on the water a large number of days out of the year, who use their boats in rough conditions, or ocean swell type of environment do not use the spool or original style push pole holders and instead look at our guide series push pole holders.**
